Guardsman UK Embraces a New Chapter

The Guardsman UK team has recently reached a significant milestone with their move to new, modern office premises. This relocation marks more than just a change in scenery; it symbolises the start of an exciting new chapter filled with opportunities for growth, innovation, and collaboration.

Mark Potter, Guardsman MD, highlights the purpose behind the new office: "Our new office space has been designed to foster collaboration and teamwork. The open-plan workspaces and inspirational meeting rooms create an environment where ideas can flow freely, and teamwork can thrive. We believe this move will enhance our working environment and inspire our team to reach new heights in delivering excellent products and services to our customers."

In addition to the office move, the warehouse operations are also relocating to a larger, more advanced facility. Warehouse Manager Keith Durham explains, "The new warehouse will significantly increase our capacity, allowing us to store more care products and manage dispatches more efficiently. This move ensures we continue delivering the excellent service our customers and partners expect."

To support this transition, Guardsman has partnered with Walker Logistics, a leading provider of warehousing and logistics services with over 20 years of industry experience. Their state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology perfectly align with Guardsman’s goals for streamlined operations and enhanced customer satisfaction. "By collaborating with Walker Logistics, we are confident that we will serve our customers even more effectively while benefiting from the scalability and flexibility their services provide," Keith concludes.

The team also comments on their recent appointments during the summer, with Chris Whelan joining as Head of Claims and Insurance Services and Mandy Coates as Compliance Manager. Chris brings extensive expertise in insurance and retail partnerships, while Mandy's deep understanding of FCA regulations will help navigate the complex regulatory landscape. These appointments highlight the company’s commitment to maintaining trust and confidence in an increasingly regulated environment.

They also announced several internal promotions, with Zeyn Kassam appointed as Commercial Director, Richard Oloyede as Head of Sales and Key Partnerships, and Paul Jennings as Head of Sales and Development UK/Europe. Mark Potter comments, "These promotions reflect the exceptional skills and dedication of these individuals. By investing in our people, we ensure continued growth and success as a company."

The company’s recent industry recognition further adds to their achievements, having won three prestigious awards simultaneously. Zeyn remarks, "These awards underscore our position as market leaders and reflect the hard work and expertise our team brings every day."

Mark Potter sums up the company’s progress: "I couldn’t be prouder of our entire team. The dedication and innovation shown during this transformation period have been remarkable. With our new premises, warehouse relocation, and the addition of talented team members, the future holds even greater achievements."
